A3: Absolutely not. I ask you to look at items and ask yourself ‘does it have a purpose, and ‘does it bring you joy’. Marie Kondo has set up her own methods and her whole philosophy is to look at what brings us joy! Declutterology is my own ‘ology’ amongst many of the psychologies out there that looks out how clutter affects our mental wellbeing on a day to day basis. I use my own experiences and also observe the experiences of others to ensure that we lok at what you are keeping rather than focusing on what you are discarding, donating, selling.
